At Cure Media, we bring together influencers and companies to explore whether there are opportunities for collaboration. Read more about us at https://www.curemedia.com.
We find your social media profile interesting and believe there are such opportunities. We would therefore like to add you to our register of influencers so that we will be able to offer you such opportunities in the future. Of course, there is no cost to you and you are not committing to anything at this stage.
The purpose of this notice is only to inform you about our personal data processing, in accordance with the laws and regulations that we must comply with.1
Your social media account meets the following criteria: your account is public (available to the public), you have a ‘creator’ or ‘business’ account, you have contact details that are publicly available, you have a significant amount of followers, and are showing an interest paid collaborations. We therefore believe that you are open to these types of contacts and that we therefore have a legitimate interest in processing your data.
However, please note that if you do not want to appear in our register, you can reply to this message and write that you are not interested. We will then erase all of your personal data from our register.
Cure Media processes data in the form of your name, alias, contact information, profile/focus, and selected parts of the content you have chosen to publish on social media, such as photos and posts. Cure Media processes these in order to pass on your information and profile to companies that might be interested in retaining you to market their products.
Please note that the personal data consists only of information that you personally, through your social media channel(s), have already published, together with additional information (if any) that you personally allow us access to (for example, additional contact information or what type of collaboration interests or does not interest you).
We may from time to time, at irregular intervals, send to you our influencer survey containing a number of questions about your interests, habits, types of products and brands you use, platforms (social media) on which you post, age, gender, events in your life, number and age of children (if any), country of residence, postal code and date of birth.
Participation in these surveys is voluntary, by you giving us your consent by participating. You may withdraw your consent at any time, without giving a reason, by contacting us. We will cease all processing of, and erase, your survey data if you notify us that you withdraw your consent.
The survey data (your name, alias, contact information, and your answers in the survey) will be aggregated with your other personal data (see above) and processed for the same purposes, i.e. in order to pass on your information and profile to companies that might be interested in retaining you to market their products.
The survey data will be used for a period of a maximum of eighteen (18) months, after which it will be deleted.
We only use your personal data for the purposes stated in this policy.
Only those persons at Cure Media who need access to your personal data in order to perform their job responsibilities have access to it. We have customary and satisfactory IT security in place in order to prevent impermissible use or unauthorized access to your personal data.
We do not share your personal data with anyone other than the technology providers that assist us with the functional development of the website, those who assist us with operation, monitoring, and protection of our software and IT environments. They will have access to the data but will not be entitled to use it for any purpose other than to assist Cure Media with its services.
Finally, we will pass your details on to our customers and potential customers (i.e. companies that may be interested in collaborating with you to market their products).
Please note that some of these companies are located outside the EU/EEA. If you consent to our processing, you also consent to such companies accessing your data.
You are always entitled (subject to certain restrictions) to exercise the following rights, which you do by contacting us as described above.
If you wish to exercise these rights, we may require you to first verify your identity and/or provide information that enables us to identify data we process about you.
Exercising your rights is free of charge. However, if your request is clearly unfounded or unreasonable (for example, unnecessarily repetitive), we reserve the right to charge a reasonable administrative fee or to refuse to comply with your request.
